A LITTLE ABOUT ME

Hi! I’m Kam

I believe thoughts become reality and ideas can become tangible things.

Design has always been a part of my life, I am an industrial designer and I always dreamed of having my own studio. When we moved from Mexico to Canada some years ago, I learned how to knit and I haven’t stopped since.

After a while of knitting for myself and for others I ventured into designing my own patterns and I started collaborating with dyers and other pattern designers, slowly creating a name for myself.

I have been volunteering at my local library as the knit night host for the last 5 or 6 years, and I organize a monthly sip and stitch with people from all over the GTA. I love building a community and meeting with other makers, creating meaningful relationships.

Sock knitting is the perfect instant gratification project. Once you start knitting socks you will not be able to stop.

Testimonial

There’s nothing more satisfying than working in collaboration with a designer that is down to earth.

Kam has a lovely taste in style that is both functional and modern.
Her patterns are perfect for adventurous knitters who value mindful knitting and a side of coffee. I have been blessed to get to know Kam. I have knit several of her patterns (which I have literally memorized) and I enjoy encouraging her on to reach her goals.
