Transitions Shawl

CA$9.50

Through our lives, we transition from one place to another. We go from bright, colorful, bold moments, to darker, grey skies and then we go back to full color. While designing this shawl, I wanted to represent those transitions through the yarns, I wanted something meditative, no complicated stitches, nothing to think about but knit and purl, and get into that zone where your mind can wander and you can reflect on what you are going through. I hope working on this shawl brings you joy.

The shawl is a ¾ square shape, which is perfect to drape around your shoulders while covering your back. I think this is one of my favorite shapes because it won’t slip off your arms, and it is big enough to keep you warm and cozy during the coming winter months

This shawl uses 4 different colors; I suggest using two neutral contrasting colored yarns, a speckled yarn and a semi-solid or contrasting yarn so you can see the color work throughout your project.
